25 Sep 2 thought leadership events
On 24th September, 2019 – Insight with Passion hosted 2 thought leadership events at The Dean Street Townhouse London, in front of a live audience & online viewers.
Both events were themes 2020 – What Now, What Next and featured some of the very best experts & colleagues from a wide variety of industries and disciplines.
Both events were fascinating in terms of content, expertly chaired by Isabel Webster, Sky TV anchor – who got the very insight out of our speakers.
The Business Briefing focussed on the rise & rise of consumer power & I was joined by Richard Lim & Andrew Busby
The 2020 Briefing featured: Karen Murray (Director & Producer – CNBC) Amanda Byram (Fitness Expert, TV Presenter, Author) Katy Hill (Life Coach, TV Presenter) Edward Watson (International PR Expert) Baroness Helen Newlove ( Victims Commissioner 2012 – 2019) and Stephen Roachford (International Music Exec)
Noone knew just what 2020 had in store for us all, but the advice and insights of the day are still relevant – Covid19 has certainly accelerated the speed of the change.
It is with great sadness that we lost Stephen Roachford earlier this year. His wisdom and clarity of thought appreciated by so many
At the end of the event, we asked contributors to highlight their top piece of positive advice for 2020 – here is what they said:
Karen Murray “ Everything is possible if you work collaboratively”
Katy Hill “Promote kindness, encourage vulnerability”
Stephen Roachford: “Be as transparent and as honest and gentle as possible
Isabel Webster “Simplicity is key – bring it back to what is obvious”
Kate Hardcastle; “The legacy of our lifetime may be that of baton carriers, we can make a massive difference to the next generation:”
Amanda Byram: “Be authentic, get off the perfection treadmill, perfection is just an illusion>
Ed Watson: “ The next decade is about encouraging a state of good enough”
Baroness Helen Newlove “ Believe in yourself, society needs to show acceptance, as a collective we are powerful.”
